Athletic Club were unable to continue their winning streak in Liga and were clearly defeated by Real Madrid (5-1). Benzema’s two goals (the first with help from Aurtenetxe) Ramos, Ozil and Khedira were the result of the 23 actions in which the hosts approached Iraizoz’ goal with clear-cut danger.
