Athletic Club has clinched a spot in the semi-finals of the UEL after drawing 2-2 against Schalke 04. Ibai (his first official goal) and Susaeta scored for Los Leónes. Huntelaar and Raúl scored for the Germans.

As expected it was an intense and tough match. Everyone knew that it wasn’t going to be easy to reach the semi-finals. The Germans came to Bilbao to win the match. In the end, the Athletic fans exploded with joy. Now it is time to prepare for the next match against Sevilla.

The rival in the semi-finals will be Sporting Lisbon. The first match will be played in Lisbon on April 19th, and the second round match in San Mamés on April 26th. Both fixtures will take place at 21:05. Javi Martínez will not play the first match due to accumulation of yellow cards. The European dream is still alive.
