Athletic Club comes home empty-handed from its visit to Lyon, where Olympique has prevailed 2-1. Lisandro opened the scoring soon after the second half began, Ibai equalized in the final stretch, but a goal by Bryand in the final stages left our team with nothing.

The Rojiblancos deserved a lot more than what they got, but even after carrying the weight of the match, they were less effective than its rival and more so at the decisive moments of the match.
