Athletic Club drew 2-2 against Granada. Llorente and Susaeta scored for Athletic, and Jaime and Geijo scored for Granada. The fixture was complicated in the very beginning because Jaime scored in the first two minutes of the match. Before the end of the first half, Jaime received a red card for a penalty against Iraola, and Llorente was unable to tie the match from the penalty sport.

In the second half, Geijo got the second goal with a rapid counterattack. When it seemed all hope was lost, Athletic’s Llorente and Susaeta scored two big goals in the span of ten minutes.

It’s the way things go…the doubt in your mind is if the bottle is half full or half empty; if we gained a point or lost a point. However, there is no time to waste. Mallorca are coming to San Mamés on Sunday and we hope to end the week with three points in our back pocket.
