Athletic Club has been defeated 1-2 by Sevilla FC in San Mamés. Aduriz was the scorer of our unique goal and Kolodziejczak and Iborra were the authors of the visiting team.

Our squad deserved another result, the defeat was too much. With a better opening of the guests, Athletic bossed the game and it had some unsuccessful attempts. In the very beginning of the second half Aduriz finished with a header from Muniain’s cross. However, in the best moment of our team, with a second goal seemingly close, Sevilla FC scored an equaliser.

The game became even again and in a doubtful play, thanks to Iborra, the away team took the lead.

A very complicated tie, of course, but our players have always shown that they never give up in adversity. On Sunday, we are facing Rayo Vallecano at San Mamés in LaLiga, which won’t be an easy task either.
