Athletic Club has lost 3-1 against Real Club Celta in Balaídos. Raúl García scored the goal for our team, while the home side went ahead with goals from Sergi Gómez and Iago Aspas (2).

New defeat as visitors in LaLiga in a game that was decided between minutes 16 and 26 of the first half. After a good start, with an initial quarter-hour of high pressure and the rival playing on his field, in one of the first offensive skirmishes a header by Sergi Gómez opened the scoreboard.

With the goal the team has not known how to stop the game and without too much effort the rival leaded 3-0 in the 26th minute. From there the Athletic has tried to react and before the break Raúl García has scored the 3-1.

The second half, despite having to risk too much in defence, was better, but the clear chances of goal (Unai Nunez, Laporte, Williams, Aduriz …) have not been transformed and the Galician team has maintained the difference.

Now comes a new league break with a visit from Villarreal CF to San Mamés, a duel in which Mikel Vesga won’t be able to play as he have seen his fifth yellow card.
