Levante UD - Athletic Club

Athletic Club lost 3-0 against Levante UD in the Ciudad de Valencia Stadium. Chema, Campaña and Roger scored the goals for Levante.

The fixture has started well. Possession, play in the rival’s area and opportunities without hitting the target but unfortunately it went wrong in the last minutes of the first half with a suspicious VAR application, that has come with a generous injury time and in the last seconds, a goal after an unlucky bounce in the area.

Thereafter to the final whistle, everything has been negative: Ganea’s injury, lack of patience and spaces for the rival with two goals in ten minutes, fifth yellow card for Iñigo Martinez and Nolaskoain was sent off, via VAR. The worst, coming back home without points and with the alarms going off.

Now we have to consider each point as a treasure to conquer, to try to leave the fund with patience and with a lot of work and we have to do it from Monday against Girona FC in the Cathedral, although this Thursday, we have the second left of the Cup against Huelva in El Alcoraz after the 4-0 of the first leg.
