Athletic Club defeated Getafe CF by 0-1 and finishes, the tenth time around, with the losing streak, after four defeats and five draws in the Coliseum. A header by Aymeric Laporte, in the first minutes of the match, was enough to bring home three points.

It was a hard match with a lot of pressure from the locals, mainly in strategic plays, but the defensive work paid off today. In addition Gorka Iraizoz blocked a penalty shot by Diego Castro in the final stretch of the first half, although at the break he had to withdraw due to an injury.
