SD Huesca - Athletic Club

Athletic Club defeated 0-4 to the Sociedad Deportiva Huesca in El Alcoraz. Aduriz (2) and Williams (2) were the two goalscorers.

This match was Gaizka Garitano’s debut on the bench of the first team. The team has won a fixture in which they have been accurate in attack and good in defence. In fact, the team from Huesca did not create any danger until well into the second half of the match – Camacho missed a penalty kick when the score was 0-2.

After several unsuccessful arrivals on the wing, Aduriz has overtaken Athletic in the final minutes of the first half and was able to score his second one, almost unintentionally, in the first minutes of the second half of the fixture. His substitute Williams was the scorer of the other two goals, the first one after a good collective play.

As soon as the final whistle rang, the head and the energies of all the members of the Athletic Club expedition are now focused on the next fixture in San Mamés against Girona FC, next Monday at 09.00 p.m., hoping that this is the beginning of a positive streak as the one that, until now, we have had in the Cup.
