Athletic Club has been defeated 1-2 by Espanyol. Gurpegi scored our only goal, whereas Sergio Garcia and Colotto scored for the visitors. In addition, Aritz Aduriz was booked with a red card, reason why he will not be able to play the match against Real Betis next Sunday in Seville

Espanyol took the lead soon and has been superior in the first half, with a ball to the post by both teams, whereas in the second half the rojiblancos have had control of the match. After the draw, the visitors got their strategic spark back and earned the first Liga victory in the new stadium

Now the team is fourth on the table, with the same margin with respect to fifth, but with the need of reuniting with victories.
