Athletic Club defeated Real Sporting 2-1. Muniain and Aduriz, from the penalty spot, scored the goals and Cop, also from the spot, scored Sporting’s goal.

It was a difficult match, especially during the first half, with Sporting exerting good pressure, making it difficult for our team to attack, who came back from the maximum penalty conceded before the break.

Again uphill, the chances came with a certain regularity and, fortunately, Muniain finished off a delivery from Williams shortly after the start of the second half. Afterwards, a penalty on Muniain himself, converted by Aduriz, was the winning goal.
