Rayo Vallecano - Athletic Club

Athletic Club drew one-all against Rayo Vallecano in Vallecas. Iker Muniain, in the second half, equalized after Pozo’s goal in the first.

One new equalise, the sixth of the season and the fourth away from San Mamés, in the second appointment of this week. As happened on Sunday, the rival has taken the lead and has played a much better first half than ours. In fact, in addition to a goal cancelled by the VAR, in one of several arrivals of the Vallecas team, Pozo has scored a low shot from outside the area.

The difference has been in the restart, when Athletic have adjusted the pressure and managed to be more vertical in their game. It is then when the occasions have arrived, although the tie has not been consummated until minute 66 when Iker Muniain (four goals already in his account) has pushed, from the ground to the net, a header by Raul Garcia.

Until the end, the chances have come in both areas but the scorecard maintained the same.

The next match will be on Saturday 27th at 4:15 pm in San Mames against Valencia CF, which comes in a similar situation to ours, as it has only won one league game and has tied seven.
