Athletic Club remains undefeated in San Mamés after the 1-1 draw against Valencia and continues with the unintended “custom” of having to make a final rebound on the scoreboard. Today has not been an exception since the visitors were leading just before the break with a goal by Banega from eleven meters. However, in the second half a goal by Mikel Rico equalized the match though the team persisted until the final whistle.

After this draw the team is in a tie in fifth place on the table along with Valencia and Getafe. After two weeks to load batteries and correct errors, another home match, this time on Monday, 21 October, at 22:00 hours, against Villarreal, another team that is above us on the table.
