The initiative was almost always taken by the red-and-whites, with little luck in the decisive plays of the first half and much clearer dominance in the second, but few gaps in front of the opposition goal. Fortunately, the effort was rewarded positively and Aduriz’s ninth goal in La Liga has allowed Athletic to reach 27 points in the table.
