Athletic Club has defeated Levante Unión Deportiva by 0-2. Aritz Aduriz scored both goals that carry an important victory, second consecutive this week and first in Liga so far in 2015, since the last one dated back to November in Getafe. Thus things, the margin with the tail-end of the table broadens.

Our team confronted the match well, with the common conditioners of the pitch – not in very good state- and very windy and the exclusive ones of the effort on Thursday against Malaga CF. Nevertheless, as the minutes neared half time the intensity became more balanced.

In the second half, the best beginning brought about the goal. Levante UD have reacted with a double-occasion, but in the final stretch Aduriz’s second goal consolidated the victory.

The worse part of the match has been the fifth yellow card seen by Iraola, a circumstance that will prevent him from playing on Sunday in San Mamés against FC Barcelona.
