Athletic Club fell defeated by 2-0 in its visit to Granada CF. After forty-five weak but balanced minutes, El-Arabi scored twice in the first quarter hour of the second half; the first time from a penalty and the second with a header from a corner shot. From that point on, the Andalusians managed their advantage quite well before the vain attempts by the rojiblancos to trim distances.
