Sixth consecutive Liga match without losing .

Athletic Club has defeated Getafe CF by 1-2 in Coliseum Alfonso Perez. San Jose, with a header from a corner in the first half, and Beñat, from a direct free-kick in the second, scored the goals for our team. Lafita scored the goal for the locals.

Three well-deserved points, a total of 18 in Liga and that completes a run of six consecutive, undefeated matches (four wins and two draws), somewhat far from the initial tight runs.

The rojiblancos have been superior the whole first half and, after resisting the local’s attempt to react at the beginning of the second, they regained control of game, although absolute calm didn’t arrived until the final whistle.

On the negative side, the fifth yellow card for Balenziaga; this will prevent him from playing against Cordova CF.
